Entry Table

So I got these great black tables off of Craigslist...Entry, coffee, end and side table. I just relocated the entry table to...wouldn't you know it...the entry...LOL (I had it in our family room and it just wasn't working for me.

Lamp(s) I found at Marshall's and FELL IN LOVE...had to have them.  The egg nest and eggs were from another  project I did awhile back.  Books were from Goodwill, the tall metal "thingy" I got at another thrift store and added the twine and moss eggs (also another past project), the bunny was another thrift find along with the Pottery Barn vase filled with eggs (also another past project)

In this table - I store my candles & holders for different seasons. On the lower shelf is a sign that reads "Do One Thing A Day That Makes You Happy" - a quote to live by which I why I started to blog my hobbies and addictions...LOL...the @ and W I found at Michaels', and the cream colored wire basket I found for $4.00 at DI...it is so beautiful - definitely needed a good washing, but it was perfect. Now what to put in it....

This was fun, I used some of my left over eggs (from past project) and took stickers and spelt out Easter (taken from Pottery Barn eggs) and added two moss rocks.  Then placed on a green saucer.  The Silver tray I found at DI for $1.00 I polished it up a bit and placed it under plate.

Egg Project....

Once again while browsing other blogs I saw this idea and so I've been keeping my eye out for the stuff to make one of my own and this weekend I did...

(if you are reading this and it was from your blog, please let me know so I can give you credit)
**Sorry for the dates on the photos I didn't realize my date stamp was on**
I found this AWESOME vase at Value Village - while purchasing it I saw the bottom of it "Pottery Barn"  SCORE!!!

I got this egg tree at Goodwill, a few of the eggs were smashed so I got a good price (at least I thought so) $3.99.
Then at TJ Maxx last night I found these birdnests (they were all stuck together), easily solved by a pair of wire cutters.  I took the flowers/greenery off (to save for another day).
So I took the egg tree apart and the egg nests and this is what I had to work with...

I took the moss off the egg tree and lined the vase from Pottery Barn.
Here is what happend with those cute eggs and bird nests, and Pottery barn vase.
This terra cotta pot is what was holding the egg tree.
Here is what happend with those cute eggs and bird nests, and vase (left over from the egg tree).
Now where to put them throughout the house....

I'm Spring Flinging over at This Blessed Nest...

Easter Mantle...

Well I've never been one to decorate for the holidays other than Halloween, Fall and of course Christmas.  I went into a TJ Maxx the other day and came across a bunch of cute and inexpensive Easter decorations.  I decided that I would decorate our mantel this year.

I have these black branches that are secured in sand and black rocks that I keep up year round on the mantel, I decided to get some Cherry blossoms and attach them to the branches (I just layed them long the branches), then I added the hanging eggs.  I used a 3M clear hook and attached it to the glass and hung the Happy Easter sign.

I absolutely fell in love with this chocolate plastic bunny and the ceramic pink bunny that is holding the M & M's....the metal pink bunny was too cute to pass up.

I got the silver "W" at Goodwill for $1.00 (for Webb), the picture frame also a TJ Maxx score, I put a little square mirror inside it in place of a photo.  I added chocolate and pink ribbon to the "Family" sign (also from TJ Maxx), the white candle and the glass jar that contains my wine corks.  The white candle also received some cherry blossoms.

The sign hanging in the middle of the mirror - is the only thing I'm not sure I love in that placement.  Something is missing???

All in all I love what I purchased.  I spent a total of $50.00.  Gotta love it!!!
